Daiwa consultant Cathal Hughes is a Former World Championship Silver Medalist and winner of multiple Irish coarse angling festivals. Cathal loves nothing more than competing in the tough Irish and UK match angling festivals. Although coming from a game fishing background, Cathal turned his hand to match fishing in his junior days and has represented Ireland at both junior and senior levels in both float and feeder Championships. When not competing, Cathal likes nothing more than spending the day fly fishing on the Corrib. A true coarse angling all -rounder who has contributed to many angling publications over the years.
