Sean Dempsey
Sean Dempsey is a keen angler and Fly tyer. Sean had been Fly Fishing since he was 7 years old and has won several Leinster and All-Ireland fishing titles at youth and senior level. Sean has represented Ireland in 7 World championships at youth and senior level while also qualified for the next two world championships in France and Czech Republic.
Yet another new face on fly tyers row at the Irish Spring Angling Fair
Sean has also represented Ireland at the home nation competition and been involved with the ITFFA youth team for the last 16 years, as a competitor on the team, assisting coaches and then coaching the team, achieving 4 gold medals along the way.
Sean is current TAFI All-Ireland Lake and abd Bank champion and has won the All-Ireland Rivers Championship previously. Sean is also two time and current Thomastown River pairs champion and had been individual champion on two occasions
