My name is Craig Barr, and am the current owner of the Fly business, Flash Attack Flies. I have been fly fishing now for 40 years, and have been fortunate to turn my hobby into my job. I have represented England 7 times, and I am also the 2022 England lochstyle team captain. I am lucky enough to be sponsored by Wychwood Game, and have been for 6 years now. My highlights as an angler have been winning the then Airflo/Anglian water international team final, as well as winning the then Lexus Team International final in the same year – I was the team captain at this point. I have been lucky enough to appear on a fishing related programme, Sky Sports ‘Tight Lines’ 5 times, as well as BBC 1’S The One Show. I live very close to Rutland Water and enjoy taking people fishing to show them how to tackle a big expanse of water, as well as tell many tales I hold of the place, over the last 40 years.
