There will be plenty angling activities for kids to see and do at the Fair.  We are very keen to promote angling to young people.  There will be a designated area on our bait lake for free kids fishing tuition during the day.  Fully qualified instructors from GAIA will be on hand to provide expert tuition.

We know from experience that kids love to see the range of insects and bugs that live in the lakes and streams.  With this in mind we have an expert entomologist lined up to show everyone young and old the amazing range of insects that live in the lake.

There will be a free kids fly tying tuition area in the main marquee.  This will be supervised by qualified members of APGAI Ireland.  This is in addition to the full timetable of fishing demonstrations at our fly casting, lure fishing and coarse fishing zones.  There will also be a variety of angling related talks and demos ongoing all day each day.
