Sean Deeney

My name is Sean Deeney,  I am a salmon fly dresser from Derry in the Northwest of Ireland.  I have been tying for around ten years now, starting off watching Youtube videos and progressed from there.

My passion is tying modern shrimp and hair wing patterns putting my own personal touch and spin on them.  I’ve tied at several fishing fairs including the North West Angling Fair.  Recently I was invited to become an ambassador for LTS flyfishing, Partridge of Redditch and Lesonen Signature Materials which was a great honour.

I’ve been fly fishing for Atlantic salmon and sea trout for over thirty five year on the river’s of the Foyle system and guide for Glenmore rivers on the beautiful river Finn in Donegal.
