I have been fishing since the age of 4 and haven't stopped since. At the age of 13 I
began guiding on the River Nore for salmon and trout on the grounds of Mount Juliet
Estate where i later took over as fisheries manager. I enjoy all types of fishing and i
really enjoy getting people involved in fishing. My fortnightly newsletter the river
whispers is aimed at beginners and improvers and I recently started free fortnightly
zoom classes for people starting or improving on their angling journey. There is
nothing more rewarding than getting a picture, phone call or text from someone you
helped catch their first fish or maybe a fish using a technique you thought them.
I have been extremely lucky on mu journey and never thought I would be lucky
enough to be involved with brands such as Cadence, Yeti and Fulling Mill. I look
forward to meeting you all at this wonderful event and hope to see you at one of my demos.

During Dans demo he will take a closer look at fly rods, reels and lines.The aim is to
give a clearer understanding of rod classes, line types and reels. With a balanced set
up and correct choices your journey can be a much more enjoyable one. We will
take a look at casting when a set-up is balanced versus when it’s not approach and cast is a must”.
