I am originally from a village in co.kildare called robertstown.on the Grand canal.Built in the 18th century.
My love for fishung goes back a long way as a child
Fishing for stickle backs and minnows in a small river.then progressing to fishing on the Grand canal for course fish.i then joined
The irish Ladies flyfishing
Aasociatation in 1998 and
Started flyfishing under the Guidance of sean mc menamon who was the manager of the fishing inxthe kclub in straffan in co .kildare.
I was delighted to make the Team to fish for ireland
On Lough corrib in 2001 and was Lucky enough to catch a fish 1 of only a few to do so.my love for flytying came 12 odd yrs later when our fishing club decided to form a flytying class.to date ive tyed flies at the showcwhen it was in swords in Dublin .more resently at the show in ardaire springs on the irish Ladies flyfishing stand for the Last few years.more recently at the river festival
