Great to have some young tyers attending the Irish Spring Angling Fair this year.

Welcome onboard Lewis Porter name is Lewis Harte Porter or just Lewis Porter as I’m known by most. I’m 14 and from County Tyrone I’ve been tying flys and fly fishing for a couple of years now.

I have fished with team ulster for the last 2 years and have acquired 4 all Ireland medals (lake and river) with the team in that time I also have fished with the ITFFA youth team (Irish youth team) and won a gold medal with the team in the 4 nations in wales and I qualified to fish in the team this year again we are heading to England to fish the 4 nations again in the summer. I also fish for salmon on my local rivers Mourne and Finn. I look forward to tying at the Irish spring angling fair.
