Denis Goulding

My name is Denis Goulding i have fished all over Ireland over the last 40 years. On river , lakes , ponds and canals.I fish all year round. I was luckhy enough to be brought fishing at a young age by my father and to this day we often share a boat together.

During my fishing career i have gained 10 International Lough Style caps and Captained the Irish Team Twice. In 2022 i won the coveted Brown Bowl on Lough Melvin for the top International Angler . I have won Interprovincial and provincial championships lough style and the banks provincial, plus many many more competitions. I am currently on the Senior Lough Style Irish Team.. As you may guess i love the challenge of competitive fishing.

I have taught fly casting, fly tying and fly fishing techniques for over 30 years. Published in many Magazines and have been on quite a few podcasts. At present i am Head Coach of the I.T.F.F.A. Youth Team that have just won their fourth Youth International in a row, three of which were fished in the United Kingdom.

I am luckily enough to be involved with Wychwood Game and I am currently their Irish Ambassador.
